I'm not going to guess how the Obama Administration calculates the Unemployment rate in this country, but it's definitely in a way that's to make us think it's accurate.
If it is, then my math must be a little bit fuzzy. To the contrary, I don't believe it is!
Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Chairwomen of the DNC in an interview with Fox News today, after saying the unemployment rate was down to 8.6%, was reminded by Gretchen Carlson that one out of every four workers in America is not working. A statistical fact. Now, I know that anybody in the Tea Party can figure in their heads, it comes to 25% who are unemployed. Right Folks??
They must be counting only the ones that are still on the unemployment rolls, some of whom are going into their third year of remaining there. I'm sure they would be more than happy to go back to work. Also, they aren't counting the small business people who didn't qualify for Employment benefits and make up a good portion of the Tea Party. Yes, I'm sure 25% is far more realistic.
The way they calculate it must be similar to the inflation rate where it shows it holding steady, although the cost of groceries by themselves have risen at least 30% in the last year alone. On top of that, they add insult to injury by saying the Tea Party isn't smart enough to understand. To heck they don't!! Watch how they vote in this next election!
Don't be surprised though, if the Critical prices come down considerably this year and then go back up after the Election in November. Economists in the know will tell you it always happens in an election year. It doesn't fool me. Don't let it fool you either. Just sayin'.
