GET READY, THE WORLDS WAITING FOR YOU.......A POEM

Get ready, the world's waiting for you
To see if you're ready to ride
The waves of the sea you wade into
You wonder what they have to hide
                                                              
Dazzle them all with your brilliance
As you pause for a moment to talk
Not letting yourself be a nuisance
When 'ere you meet folks on your walk

Inspire them with your knowledge
and linger when they talk awhile
Cause listening's always a privilege
Don't let the world change your smile

Abide by the wisdom you're giving
Help others at times they're in need
 Peace to the world at Thanksgiving
Wish all those leaving God speed.

Don't let yourself get discouraged
Mean things you say from the start
Meet life with plenty of courage
Don't let anyone break your heart

Let all your good memories linger
Spread goodwill to all that you see
He'll beckon you home with his finger
A wonderful World it will be.
