"INSIDER TRADING" IN CONGRESS. TELL ME IT AIN"T SO!!

Over the years, I, along with many others, have always wondered why a successful business owner in his own right would want to run for Congress. Especially when the income would be substantially lower than what they would normally receive if they stayed in private business. Well,,,,, now we may know shortly.
Up until now, there have been laws established against "Insider trading" in stocks that are available to inside investors in the public Stock market. People have been jailed for years because of this. House Representative Jim McDermott, (D) has recently been criticized for doing just that.
The laws are simply to protect the outside investors from being taken advantage of by the Prime owners or appointed officers of the same company. Such as knowing or foreseeing a happening in the market that's going to affect the raising or lowering of their investor's stock values.
The law requires the Owners and Officers to reveal that information to the outside investors before
taking trading action on their own stocks.
It appears that the Congress members have not been required to follow the same rules when it comes to knowledge obtained within the Congressional grasp, but hasn't yet been revealed to the constituents. It seems they have been enhancing their private investments with knowledge that benefits
their investments before it reaches the public. i.e. Al Gore's Global warming Scandal that allowed him to manipulate the truth about it to his own benefit of hundreds of millions of dollars may be one example.
I believe it's only because of a Democratic control of Congress that's prevented all the truths concerning Al Gore to be made public. It's often referred to as "The Great Global Warming Swindle", as previously described by a well known N.W. Blogger by the name of Buck Compton. He had the Socialists pegged for years.
Thanks to the Freshman Congressmen to Washington, D.C., laws will be passed shortly prohibiting this kind of thing that by the way, brings a new meaning to the term"Washington Insiders".
So now we are beginning to know!    Just sayin'.
