A TRILLION DOLLAR APPROPRIATIONS BILL AND A 3 DAY TIME PERIOD TO PASS IT??

The House of Representatives is attempting to pass an Appropriations Bill for approx. 1 trillion dollars. 1 TRILLION DOLLARS!!
Now we all know that the reason for our debt today is partially because of important Bills being signed and voted on after each representative has attached their additional side bills to it.
This results in a Bill being inflated by the time it gets to the Approval process by double or often more. For example: If the main purpose of the Bill is a projected cost of 500 billion dollars to start with, it can easily be doubled after each congressman has attached their little desires to it. It can easily reach a Trillion dollars. They are called Earmarks. Let's say Barney Frank wants a Footbridge over a Creek that would allow customers easier access to his illegal house of male prostitution. He would simply figure the cost and fix it to the Bill. He might call it the "Bridge to Underwear" or something like that. Thank God he's announced his retirement. (There's no exaggeration about the house of male prostitution, either. His male lover ran it.)
You can see how a bill could get inflated after it goes by 435 House Representatives.
That doesn't mean they'll even read the Initial bill. they just need to attach their little Earmark they know they're going to get, if it passes.
I understand that there's a proposed requirement for the Bill to be posted in a public square where the electorate can read it for 72 hrs. before it's passed. This is in order that you and I can't say we didn't have a chance to read it before it's passed. Well, we know that's not going to happen because it could be tied up for years before every curious onlooker has read it. That's not efficient because there's already enough hold-up in the Bill passing process, between that and attaching the Earmarks. But we can certainly require  each Congressman to at least set aside time to read the bill during the 72 hr. period. Perhaps serve them with a free "School lunch". (Just a pun.)
And that would eliminate one majority of Congress from having the privilege of passing a bill behind closed doors without the opposing legislators being present to read it. (It happened in the passage of Obamacare.)
And, I understand that a group of Congressmen are presenting a bill that would prevent Earmarks from being included with a Primary Bill. If I have my information right, that would solve a whole lot of other expenditures and problems down the "Can kicking" road, wouldn't it?
In the meantime though, let's make sure they take whatever time is reasonably needed to READ THE BILL!!!    Just sayin'.
