CONCERNING THE OIL AND COAL AMERICA IS PRODUCING.
As the debate goes on concerning America's oil production, I continue to hear the argument being presented by the Whacky "Left" that "America is producing more oil than ever before", over and over again. In saying such, they are completely and deliberately "leapfrogging" the problem we're having here in the first place. The lack of ability to produce jobs and finished goods "before the raw products leave this Country for other parts of the World".
First of all, I'm not interested in how much oil is being produced. Why? Because if the oil production is being increased 10 fold, the fact is, it continues to be shipped at an alarming rate out of the Country!!
As an average American citizen, who in the heck really cares that the International Companies need more and more oil to be shipped at practically no financial benefit to the consumer here, anyway?
The sooner we close off the International Companies' unlimited access to our raw materials, the sooner Independent Companies will rise again to begin the local employment opportunities that are so badly needed here!
The way it appears to me, our Gov'ts have been allowing the International Companies to "Hijack" our natural resources for many years.
The real question should be, when are we going to help ourselves to it first, before one drop of it leaves this Nation?
The same thing is happening in Canada, by the way!!
Let's not forget, It's the International trading companies that got us into this manufacturing , production and job scarcity mess in the first place, by hornswoggling the politicians into allowing the World Free Trade agreement!! And of course, as always, never considering the costs and effects it would have on the good old American economy.
It's typical of short sighted planning without considering the long term consequences. Our politicians are great at that, and it leaves us with no choice left to combat that sort of thing but this; The rights and ability to vote them out of office.
I'm not sure enough people are beginning to recognize we are about to lose that pleasure as well. Just sayin'.
