A LITTLE ANGEL LEFT US TODAY

The Devil sent tornadoes to this little Midwest town

He sent them with the thought in mind to smash it to the ground.

One ripped and tore with all it's might and roared just like a train

It devastated everything, alongside hail and rain.

With devilish speed for Angel's home, it tore it all apart

Then God reached to grab them all but Angel, bless her heart

was flung somewhere a mile away and landed in a field

her little body suffering so, alas her fate was sealed.

God came back the very next day, to scoop her in his arms

And took her to her family, adoring all her charms.

Jesus was a carpenter, and got out all his tools

With perfect hands he started in, including golden rules

he built a sacred crib for her, he built with all his might

And now she has a place to sleep away her endless night.
