A friend of mine has researched the history of Israel concerning the Jews and the Muslims. I'll pass that information on to you.
Israel became a State around 1030 BC. Jews ruled that State after conquering it in 1250 BC. They ruled for more than 1300 years. they continued their presence in the State for 3300 years. Jerusalem was the Jewish Capital for 3000 years during that time.
Jerusalem never was the Capital to a Muslim or Arab entity, even when Israel was under Jordanian rule. No Arab or Muslim leader including Mohammed ever stepped on it's soil. King David established Jerusalem. Mohammed died in 632, 4 years before the overrun of Israel by the Jordanian Caliphate.
It was never once mentioned in the Qur'an. it was mentioned in the Hadith version which came into play after the death of Mohammed. It claims that Mohammed ascended into Heaven from Jerusalem. How could it be when he died 4 years before the conquering of it? Jerusalem has been mentioned in the Bible over 700 times. Palestinians existed on Arab lands throughout all that time and also lived alongside the Jews in Israel.
In 1948, Jews returned to their homeland from many different regions, mainly after being purged by Germany and it's Allies. They had to fight to get their land back from Jordanian rule. They succeeded and had to re-establish all the Sacred places that had been desecrated during the time they were gone. There had been no respect afforded those Sacred sights by the Palestinians.
There are Palestinian Territories scattered around the Arab lands who own 800 times the land that Israel currently has. Think about that. It doesn't include the current Palestinian Territories.
The Palestinians were never forced by the Jews to leave Israel. Other Arab and Muslim leaders urged them to do so and offered them territories to live in. 650,000 moved out of Israel back to Arab lands. Not one Jewish warrior was used to force them to move. Although Jewish rule afforded them the right to practice their own religious beliefs, they didn't want to exist under the Jewish demands that they respect the Sacred places they had previously abused and ruined while under Jordanian rule, including ancient cemeteries, the Wailing wall (Kotel) and the ancient Sacred Temple Mount.
850,000 Jewish refugees left the Arab lands for Israel due to religious, racist and violent riots. In their eyes they were finally returning to their just Homeland. After all, they were unjustly displaced from Germany where they were born by the Nazi Regime during WW2. Where else would they go?
The U.N. stood silent when The Jordanians and Palestinians destroyed 58 Synagogues while leaving the State of Israel. They stood silent during the desecration of ancient Jewish cemeteries. Again they stood silent when Jordan enforced Apartheid laws restricting Jewish access to the Temple Mount and the Western Wailing Wall.
The Fatah and Hamas Constitutions are dedicated to the destruction of Israel. There is no such dedication in the Israeli Constitution. Israel's dedication is to defend it.
The U.N. seems to be intent on the destruction of Israel as well. Out of 690 resolutions concerning the Arabs and Israeli's, 429 were against the Jewish State.
When it comes to the Arab States and the Jewish crucifixion, It doesn't make sense that they have a bone to pick concerning the handling of Jesus Christ, because they only followed the teachings of Mohammed, and that didn't include Jesus Christ in their beliefs. The Muslim religious, radical Sects are far worse than the Judeo/Christian beliefs and to the modern World their behavior is intolerable. Trying to change or negotiate with them is a waste of time. If they have refused to modify their radical beliefs in 3000 yrs. or more, why do you think they would change now? The camel dung still smells the same, don't you think?
I stand behind Israel in their claim to it being their homeland.
The crucifixion of Jesus Christ was wrong in my estimation. But that has nothing to do with the Muslims. Can you imagine what the radical Muslims would have done to Him? I don't even want to think about it. Just sayin'.
