THE IMMORAL JAILING OF CHRISTIAN-ABIDING KIM DAVIS IS FINALLY OVERTURNED!
The Progressive "Alternative Abnormal" jailing of Kentucky elected Court Clerk Kim Davis has been rightfully overturned pending further examination of her case. In the haste of a lower Court Judge to ignore other ulterior actions other than placing her in custody, the lower Court was too anxious to punish her with jail without considering those other actions.
She has just been released as I write this blog. Although she was not following the legal responsibility of the immorally established law to the finest letter or having to, she chose to follow her Religious Christian belief of not participating in the stinky business of two Homosexual men legally having the right to commit sodomy with and to, each other! "Peyuuuh"
But in their determination to force a "straight" person into coercion of approval of the same, the Lower Court made sure they administered the most harsh punishment first. (A "throw-away-the-key" kind of attitude.)
I say, "three cheers for Kim Davis!!!"
I am surprised to hear two Republican Officials along with "ALL" Democrats being so ready to come down on her situation with remarks such as, "She must follow the fine letter of the law, regardless!" "It's her job!!"
Really??? Maybe we should stand back and take a little closer look at these same people and ask ourselves if they may be participants in the same immoral act. (Could be they are!)
Maybe we should also stand back and take another look at the Obama Administration and their outrageous cronyism behavior of ignoring the "finest letter of the law" regarding the Constitution every single day. Shouldn't they be in jail just as quickly? There seem to be different rules for different people, depending whose side they're on! Just sayin'.

ReplyDelete1) For the record, homosexuals have had the right to commit sodomy with and to each other since the United States Supreme Court handed down the 'Lawrence v Texas' decision in 2003. The Obergefell v Hodges decision (June 2015) simply grants, to same sex couples, the same right to marry as any other couple. The physical act of sodomy - generally accepted to mean oral &/or anal intercourse between two persons - had nothing to do with it.
ReplyDelete2) Whether Ms Davis, or any other duly sworn public official, approves of this law (any law, really) is not relevant. I know many Christians who disapprove of interracial marriage. Many Christians, my own mother among them, disapprove of interfaith marriage &/or marriage to non-believers (as proscribed in 2 Cor 6:14 "Be ye not unequally yoked..") None of which matters. If they accept a job that required the issuance of marriage licenses, they MUST provide licenses to ALL legally entitled, properly qualified applicants, period. If it is so objectionable in their sight to do the job for which they accept a paycheck then it is incumbent upon them to step down and find a job that is not objectionable.
3) Reagan ignored laws he did not want to follow (Iran-Contra "arms for hostages" comes to mind) as did both Bush administrations, Clinton and of course we cannot forget ole' "Tricky Dicky" Nixon (the origin of the "gate" suffix on every scandal since Watergate. Honestly, one could go back to John Adams to find blatant examples of judicial - if not Constitutional - selective enforcement.
4) Are you seriously suggesting that anyone who does not share your homophobia be investigated to see if they might be a 'closet' homosexual?
That smacks of McCarthyism - using baseless accusation and innuendo to cast aspersions on those who disagree with you is textbook McCarthyism. However, in light of the content and context of your screeds, it would not surprise me if you accept being equated with "Tail Gunner Joe" McCarthy as a compliment. Just sayin'
